Soap Babes fare well in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women poll

The FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2006 poll has just been announced and there’s plenty of (ex and current) soap babes in the list… well, 9 to be precise.
Top of the soap babes is former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison at number 31, closely followed by Hollyoaks‘ very own Gemma Atkinson at number 32. Following these are Coronation Street babes Tina O’Brien (53) and Nikki Sanderson (57). Former Neighbours star Holly Valance (recently seen in Prison Break) is next at 63, and she is followed by a trio of Emmerdale beauties Sammy Winward (73), Roxanne Pallett (77), – both of whom recently appeared in ITV’s Soapstar Superstar – and Adele Silva (85). The last soap babe on the list is Hollyoaks‘ Roxanne McKee at number 91

Former Eastenders actress Gemma Bissix has replaced Samantha Rowley in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks as the new face of character ‘Clare Devine’.
You may recognize Gemma Bissix from her role as Nigel’s step-daughter in Eastenders (she played ‘Clare Tyler’ between 1993-1998).
Gemma made her Hollyoaks debut last week.. here’s a quick image showing the two actresses side-by-side (images from TartyDoris.com):
